Since ercol’s beginnings in 1920, design has always been at the heart of what they do. The company was founded by a young Italian, Lucian Ercolani, with a simple goal in mind: making furniture that was well designed and made in a good working environment by artisans taking pride in their work.

The ercol factory
It has been located in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, since 2002. Their 16,000 m2 factory combines the most recent technology with valued traditional artistry to craft a range of unique furniture.
They received several awards for their factory’s architectural design and environmental features. The company is also proud to work with a number of carefully selected manufacturing partners around the globe. They have a long-standing history with Sterling Home.
