Delivery Information


Extra measures and changes to keep everyone safe.

To protect both our customers and delivery teams we have put new measures and procedures in place to ensure that everyone’s health and well-being is given paramount importance.

The new 2-man furniture delivery measures for everyone’s safety include:


  • Ahead of any home delivery taking place, you will be asked to confirm if anyone in your home is self isolating due to Coronavirus. If yes, we will rearrange your delivery when the symptoms have passed at least 14 days later.
  • Ahead of any home delivery taking place, you will be asked to confirm whether you would like furniture assembled or simply placed in the room of choice and this will be noted on the drivers' schedule.
  • Delivery teams will sanitise their hands both when entering and leaving their delivery vehicle using the provided hand sanitiser.
  • When in their vehicles, delivery teams will always wear masks and visors.
  • Upon arrival at a your address, delivery teams will disinfect their hands using hand-sanitiser before applying gloves and shoe covers, in addition to the face masks and visors already being worn.
  • On arrival, delivery teams will speak to you at a safe distance to discuss how the delivery will take place and what room the furniture is to be placed. If you would prefer that the delivery team does not enter your home we are able to place your order at your front door or in a garage.
  • You will be asked to vacate the room and/or area of the property for which the delivery is intended so as to minimise the proximity of interactions between the you, your family and the delivery team.
  • If you have opted to have your furniture assembled by our team, please open any windows in your room of choice before the team arrives and leave them open for the duration of the assembly.
  • Instead of being asked to sign for your delivery when complete, the delivery team will take a digital picture of your furniture in place.


Deliveries which are outwith the mainland Scotland area covered by our own Sterling delivery team and are passed to a carrier to complete will only be placed in your room of choice as these teams are not able to carry out any assembly of furniture or removal of packaging at this time.



We know how important delivery is to our customers and so we aim to provide the highest quality service across the whole of the UK mainland. We take the time to evaluate each and every one of our products so that we can identify the fastest, safest and most efficient delivery option for you. Unlike many other retailers we feel it’s important to offer standard delivery charges across the whole of the UK mainland. So, whether you’re in Scotland, England or Wales, the same delivery charges apply and we think that’s only fair.

Please note:

  • Our delivery charges are NOT cumulative. The maximum you will pay for the delivery of any total order is either £5.95 or £69.
  • Spend over £50 on items that require a courier delivery and delivery on these items is FREE!
  • Buy any item that carries a £69 two-man delivery charge and you will automatically get FREE DELIVERY on any items in your order that require courier delivery.
  • The relevant delivery charge for each product is shown within the details section on the product page and automatically calculated so that there are no surprises at checkout. 


Two-man ‘white glove’ delivery

Our two-man ‘white glove’ delivery service is generally required for all medium and large furniture products. With over 40 years' experience in furniture delivery we are confident that we, along with our expert delivery partners, have the skill to ensure that your delivery will be carried out as efficiently as possible with the least disruption to you and your household.

Our ‘white glove’ delivery crew will not only deliver, but unwrap and place your furniture in the location specified by you. Furthermore, all pieces will be assembled (excluding flat pack furniture), packaging will be removed and we will check any electrical fittings if relevant.

The estimated delivery lead time is displayed next to each furniture product. However, you will be contacted in advance of your delivery by a member of our delivery team so that you can select the next available date that is most convenient for you.

We are happy to arrange delivery to any UK island location but due to the wide range of delivery complexities to different islands we are not able to provide a standard charge for this. Please complete your order as normal (a £69 charge will be applied) and we will contact you with details of any extra delivery charge as soon as possible. Upon acceptance from you, we will process any further delivery charge which will complete your order in full. However, if you are not happy with the additional charge then you will be able to cancel your order at this point and receive a full refund. Please also note that delivery to a UK island location may increase the lead time for your delivery.


When will my furniture delivery arrive? 

All furniture products on our website are advertised with either a delivery estimate (to any UK mainland address) or are listed as ‘In stock’. We aim to be as accurate as possible with lead times and pride ourselves on delivering on time all over the country. On the rare occasion that our estimate is not correct, we will be in touch with you as soon as possible to let you know of any delay. Thankfully, our 39 years of experience and our strong relationships with our suppliers means that almost every furniture delivery takes place on time. If a furniture item is listed as ‘In stock’ it will currently be located in one of our national distribution centres. We aim to deliver all ‘In stock’ furniture within 1-2 weeks.


Courier delivery (2-4 working days)

Please note that during Covid-19 pandemic, courier delivery leadtimes may take longer than 2-4 working days. 

Items sent to you by our standard courier delivery service will be delivered by one of our courier partners (normally within 2-4 working days). To ensure the safe and quick delivery of your order a signature will be required upon delivery.

Upgrade to a Saturday or guaranteed delivery time.

Our standard courier deliveries take place Monday to Friday on an all-day service 9am to 6pm. For an additional charge, we can usually arrange a Saturday or time specific delivery. 

 Available upgrade options:

  • Saturday delivery 
  • Guaranteed delivery pre-12pm (noon)
  • Guaranteed delivery pre-10am
  • Guaranteed delivery pre-9am

Deliveries will normally be received in 2-4 working days. Regardless of the cost of the items, we take the utmost care to ensure that each individual item is packed safely and securely. Furthermore, we’re serious about the environment and so wherever possible our distribution team use recycled packaging materials to ensure that your delivery and the environment are both kept safe
