AeroBed Mattress

Sterling Furniture's range of AeroBed mattresses include the AeroBed Platinum, Classic, Sleepover, and Premier mattresses. Each of these AeroBed inflatable mattresses is the same thickness of a traditional mattress making them a great alternative for guests or travelling. All AeroBeds have a plush velvety surface, but also come with a quality fleece or poly cotton padded machine-washable cover, which adds comfort and warmth to the airbed. However you can also use your own bed linen on the AeroBed inflatable mattresses for added comfort as standard sheet sizes fit them perfectly. Every airbed can quickly self-inflate with a touch of a button with AeroBed's exclusive built in pump. This allows the AeroBed air mattress to rapidly inflate in less than 60 seconds, meaning no foot pump or blowing up required. AeroBed's patented quick release Whoosh valve allows the air mattress to quickly deflate via the deflation valve or via the remote control on the AeroBed Platinum airbed in 15 seconds. AeroBed Divan / Raised AeroBed

The AeroBed divans, or Raised Aerobeds are raised off the ground like a traditional divan bed. These inflatable beds have the same look and feel to a traditional bed but can be deflated and stored away when not in use, allowing you to make use of space at home. These AeroBeds are much more sturdy and supportive than the inflatable mattresses, making them ideal for use in a spare bedroom when you have guests to stay. These inflatable mattresses also have a luxury velvety surface for extra comfort, but each airbed also comes with a quality fleece or poly cotton padded machine-washable cover for warmth. As the Raised AeroBed is the same size of a traditional bed, standard bed linen also fits the air mattress perfectly, allowing you to make your guests as comfortable and welcome as possible. Battery Operated Pump

The Sleepover AeroBed from Sterling Furniture uses a battery-operated pump to inflate the airbed, ensuring the carrier case is as light as possible. To use the battery-operated pump, simply remove the battery cover and insert 4 D Cell alkaline batteries (not included with AeroBed). Once you have closed the AeroBed battery cover, open the protective cap on the valve of the airbed. Position the 'inflate' mouth of the pump into the airbed valve and turn the pump on.

Deflating the AeroBed

AeroBed Air Release Valve (excluding AeroBed Platinum Range) To deflate your air mattress within 15 seconds, or 1 minute for the Raised AeroBed divans, simply open the patented AeroBed air release valve. For the AeroBed Platinum Range, press the deflate button on the hand-held remote control. It will take the bed 60 seconds to deflate, or 3 minutes for the Raised AeroBed divan. The Platinum AeroBed from Sterling Furniture uses the pump to deflate the bed, making it much easier to roll up and store away than other AeroBeds.

Construction

All of AeroBeds' air mattresses available at Sterling Furniture are the same height as traditional mattresses. They are built using quadra–coil technology, and the AeroBed divans are built using twin chamber channel construction. The Platinum AeroBeds available at Sterling Furniture are built with comfort zone technology, which has been proven to promote healthy spinal alignment and eliminate pressure points. Using these methods, the air in the AeroBeds is segmented and a stronger and firmer support is achieved in comparison to standard airbeds.

Testing

AeroBed air mattresses are made of a heavy-duty, durable PVC with seams which are electronically welded. The AeroBeds are built to last and can withstand up to 275 kgs of weight, meaning your airbed will not go down during the night and is extremely versatile. AeroBeds are designed to withstand a great amount of pressure meaning the bed will stay fully inflated until you are ready to pack and store it. During AeroBed's quality control check, beds are selected at random to be put through extreme testing, which includes a simulation of the air bed being used normally for 52 years.

Punctures

As the AeroBeds are made from a heavy-duty PVC, they generally do not get punctured. However, if you have punctured your inflatable mattress, you can repair it very quickly with the AeroBed puncture repair kit, which is supplied with your AeroBed from Sterling Furniture. If you have not received your AeroBed puncture repair kit, you can contact AeroBed directly online to supply you with a replacement.
